Mark Salvaña — AI Solutions Consultant
AI Solutions Consultant with 15 years of full‑stack experience. I help businesses put AI to work — implementing AI assistants and AI features, automating operations across the tools they already use, evaluating AI tools for compliance and risk, and giving teams a framework to actually adopt it.
Based in Manila → Sydney (Remote). Contact: email@marksalvana.com
What I do
- AI Implementation — AI assistants and AI features that do real work — first‑line support, internal lookups, the repetitive judgement calls a team makes all day. Reliable enough to put in front of customers, not just impressive in a demo.
- Automation & Integration — The unglamorous glue between your tools, so work moves from one system to the next on its own and nobody is babysitting a spreadsheet at 6pm.
- AI Evaluation & Governance — A clear read on whether the AI tools your team wants to adopt are safe to use — before a regulator, a client, or your own security review asks the question for you.
- AI Adoption & Solutions Consulting — Most AI pilots die not because the tech fails but because nobody owns the rollout. I help teams cross that gap — from a few enthusiasts experimenting to the whole department depending on it.
- Full‑Stack Development — Marketing sites, web apps, internal dashboards and APIs — built end‑to‑end. Fifteen years of bespoke delivery for advocacy, e‑commerce and member organisations is the foundation the AI work sits on top of.
Selected work
AI Support Assistants (2025)
AI Solutions Consultant · 3 clients (B2B SaaS & SMB) · under NDA
Every new support ticket meant more human hours. Three companies wanted first‑line answers and internal knowledge lookup that didn't grow headcount one‑for‑one.
- Built customer‑facing and internal knowledge AI assistants for three clients, each grounded in their own documentation via retrieval (RAG).
- Designed guardrails and fallback‑to‑human paths so the assistants defer instead of guessing.
- Set up lightweight evals to catch regressions before each release.
Outcome: Deflected a meaningful share of repetitive tickets; faster internal answers for staff.
Automated SEO Evaluator & Reporting (2025)
AI Solutions Consultant · Reusable client tool
Manual SEO audits were slow, inconsistent, and expensive to repeat across many client sites.
- Built a tool that crawls and audits sites against an SEO checklist automatically.
- Generates client‑ready reports with prioritised, plain‑language recommendations.
- Reusable across clients — what was a day of manual work now runs in minutes.
Outcome: Turned a recurring manual audit into a repeatable, automated product.
AI Tool Compliance Audits (2025)
AI Solutions Consultant · B2B clients
Staff were signing up for AI tools faster than anyone could check where the data went — or who would be accountable if one of them went wrong.
- Assess each tool for data handling, vendor risk, and where a wrong answer would actually hurt.
- Return a plain go / fix / avoid call leaders can act on the same day.
- Line findings up against the obligations about to bite — the EU AI Act's 2026 milestones especially.
Outcome: Leaders get a documented, defensible record of which tools are cleared and which aren't.
AI Adoption Framework (2025)
AI Solutions Consultant · SMB & mid‑market teams
A mid‑market team had bought the tools and run the pilots, but six months in almost nobody was using them day‑to‑day.
- Built the rollout framework: use‑case selection, ownership, training and measurement.
- Turned one‑off experiments into a repeatable practice with playbooks and review steps.
- Kept it safe as it scaled, with guardrails baked into each stage.
Outcome: Turns scattered AI experiments into a structured, measurable rollout.
Workflow Automation & Integrations (2025)
AI Solutions Consultant · Multiple SMB clients
A handful of SMB teams were re‑keying the same data between Make, Monday, Zapier and Bugherd, because none of those tools talked to each other.
- Mapped the real workflows first, then wired the tools together so a change in one system shows up in the others automatically.
- Replaced the manual re‑keying between platforms with event‑driven syncs.
- Put lightweight failure alerts on each flow so a silent break doesn't rot for a week.
Outcome: Reclaimed hours of manual work per week across client teams.
Tied — Wedding Website Platform (2026)
Developer & Owner · Own product · SaaS
Filipino couples were stuck between expensive custom wedding sites and generic DIY builders that ignore local conventions like ninong & ninang and the full entourage.
- Designed, built and shipped the whole product end‑to‑end — a no‑code builder with 25+ templates, a typo‑tolerant RSVP system, guest management and a live dashboard.
- Built the Filipino‑specific pieces — principal & secondary sponsors, full entourage roles, multiple events and dual‑venue support with maps.
- Added planning tools (budget tracker, supplier canvassing), custom subdomains and a GCash registry — free to build, one‑time fee to publish.
Outcome: A live SaaS I own and run — couples publish a full wedding site in an afternoon.

Politiko — Voter Education Platform (2025)
Creator · Own civic‑tech project
Filipino voters had no neutral way to compare candidates. What existed was scattered, partisan, or unsourced.
- Built a platform that puts candidates side by side on education, performance, legal history and public trust.
- Sourced every profile from verified public records, so each claim traces back to where it came from.
- Shipped it bilingual (English and Filipino) and mobile‑first, for reach during election season.
Outcome: A live, public civic resource — 37 candidate profiles, scored transparently from official sources.

Right To Be Heard — NDIS Education Hub (2024)
Lead Developer → Project Manager · YDAS · via Sentius Group
An NDIS information hub created by and for disabled young people — which meant accessibility had to be the starting point, not a retrofit.
- Led development to WCAG 2.2 AA, treating accessibility as the design constraint rather than a final audit.
- Built in reader controls the audience actually needs — colour mode and text sizing, surfaced in the header rather than buried.
- Routed the content by audience — disabled young people, families and carers, NDIS service providers.
Outcome: A live, accessible advocacy platform for YDAS, built to WCAG 2.2 AA.

AAHMS — Academy Website & Fellows Directory (2024)
